macOS · local first

Run your business from the same place you run your code.

You already live in the terminal. Your clients, your conversations, your tasks and your invoices live in six browser tabs that know nothing about each other, and nothing about the work you actually did today. vibeOS puts them in one Mac app, next to the agents doing the work.

The gap

The tools got very good at the work. Nothing got good at the rest.

An agent can refactor a service in twenty minutes. It still cannot tell you which client that was for, what you quoted, who is waiting on a reply, or whether the thing you shipped last Tuesday was ever invoiced.

The context is split in half

The work happens in the terminal. The record of it lives somewhere else, entered by hand, late, if at all.

Every tab is a separate subscription

A CRM, a task tracker, an inbox, a notes app, a time tracker. Five bills, five logins, five copies of the same client.

Your work is sitting on their servers

Client conversations, contracts, rates and unshipped code. All uploaded, indexed, and one breach away from public.

What is inside

One window. Four things that already know about each other.

Work

Clients, pipeline, tasks

Companies, contacts, deals and everything you owe someone. Custom fields, because your business is not a template.

Inbox

Conversations in one thread

WhatsApp, email and iMessage against the person they came from, so a reply is not archaeology across four apps.

Terminal

A real shell, not a chat box

A genuine PTY running your own Claude Code or Codex login. Tabs pinned per project, per account, per client.

Voice

Say it, do not type it

Hold a key, talk, and get a properly written prompt in the terminal. Transcribed on the Mac, not in someone's cloud.

Local first

The database is a file on your Mac.

Not a cache of a server. Not a sync layer with an offline mode. The actual record of your business is a SQLite file you can open, copy to a drive, and read in twenty years without asking anyone's permission.

  • No account, because there is no server to hold one.
  • Works with the wifi off, on a plane, in a client's basement.
  • Nothing is uploaded for indexing, training, or analytics.
  • If this project stops tomorrow, your data does not go anywhere.
Your own subscription

It uses the AI plan you already pay for.

The terminal runs real interactive sessions against your own Claude Code or Codex login. That is a deliberate architectural choice, not a detail.

  • No API key is ever set, so there is no per token meter running.
  • No usage of ours to mark up and resell back to you.
  • Your prompts go to your provider under your own terms, not through us.
  • Switch model or account per tab, and see which one a task ran on.
Teams

Give it to the people who work with you.

Everyone runs the same app on their own Mac. What each person sees depends on what they are allowed to see, and their work syncs to yours directly between machines. There is no middle server holding the company, because there is no middle server at all.

Assignment

People see their own work

Tasks filtered to what is assigned to them. Managers see more. The role decides, not an honour system.

Visibility

You see what actually happened

What was picked up, what shipped, how long it took. Recorded as the work happens rather than typed into a timesheet.

Sync

Mac to Mac, no middleman

Machines exchange changes with each other. Across time zones, while you sleep, with no server in between to be breached or billed.

Where this is

Early access.

vibeOS is being built in the open and used every day to run the business that is building it. It is not finished, and this page will not pretend otherwise.

One email. No sequence, no drip, no webinar.

Honest status

macOS only. Apple Silicon. Not on the App Store yet. Pricing is not decided, so there is no price on this page. Team sync between machines is the piece being built now. If any of that is a dealbreaker today, it is better that you know before you write.
